The number of truly professional conference interpreters is limited and it may be difficult to recruit a suitable team in months that are conference-intensive. Therefore, we recommended that arrangements are made well in advance (i.e., several weeks to months ahead of the event) in order to be able to recruit the most suitable conference interpreters in terms of language, experience and subject-matter expertise.
